The Qualified Furnace Operator Certificate (QFO) program was developed by a group of expert heat treaters to meet the training requirements for ARP 1962. It is a program that everyone who is in heat treat management or operates a furnace in any capacity, should have on their resume.

The QFO program offers 5-modules including:  Heat Treating Materials, Processes, Equipment, Quality/Testing/Inspection, and Metallurgical Theory.

The program includes 10-hours of instructional video combined with the course material.  The program is available in both print classroom version or online at the MTI Online Academy.
