Year To Date Heat Treat Sales Up 1.9% Over 2013

With 140 MTI member plants reporting, year to date sales for the Metal Treating Industry for May 2014 were $381.0 million, an increase of 1.9% from 2013 when sales for January-May equaled $374.1 million.
Sales for the Metal Treating Industry for May 2014 totaled $77.4 million, an increase from 2013 when sales for May equaled $76.2 million.
Three out of the nine MTI districts reported higher sales in May 2014 compared to the previous year.
