Tell Your Story of Regulation Costing Your Business Jobs or Unreasonable Costs

posted on 08.21.14

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is working on a major new study that assesses the total cost of federal regulations on manufacturers. The study will show that the cost is staggering, but you already know that better than anyone.

We need your help with the public roll out of this impactful new research. If you have a story about how regulations are affecting your manufacturing business, whether it’s about compliance, costs, unattainable standards, or even an experience you’ve had with a federal agency, NAM wants to know.

As an MTI member, if you have such a story, we would ask that you email your experience to Rosario Palmieri, NAM’s VP of Regulatory and Legal Policy, at rpalmieri@nam.org. NAM will keep your name and business anonymous if you prefer, and nothing will be used without final approval. NAM is also happy to answer questions and provide you with more information if you would like.

The NAM has been strongly advocating on behalf of manufacturers to change the way the government regulates business. Now is the time to speak out. Your story about federal regulations can help make the September release of this new NAM study a large success.

MTI member stories will help manufacturing explain this new study in real time and how these costs are directly impacting manufacturing.

Our silence says to the government, in any country, “we think things are okay.”  But if we speak as an industry, our voice is heard loud and clear. Join NAM’s efforts to make positive change in the area of government regulation by taking a moment to share how it has impacted your company.
