With 142 commercial heat treaters reporting in September, year-to-date sales for the Metal Treating Industry for September 2014 were $710.2 million, an increase of 4.6% from 2013 when sales for January-September equaled $678.8 million.

Sales for the Metal Treating Industry for September 2014 totaled $82.3 million, an increase from 2013 when sales for September equaled $74.1 million or an 11.1% increase

Eight out of the nine MTI districts reported higher sales in September 2014 compared to the previous year.
