With 142 MTI member heat treaters recording, Year to Date sales for the Metal Treating Industry for October 2014 were $795.1 million, an increase of 4.6% from 2013 when sales for January-October equaled $760.1 million.

Sales for the Metal Treating Industry for October 2014 totaled $85.0 million, an increase
from 2013 when sales for October equaled $81.3 million.

Seven out of the nine MTI districts reported higher sales in October 2014 compared to the previous year.
