This past week, MTI played host to the Great Lakes Chapter members in Cincinnati, Ohio. The meeting had plenty of excitement with comedian Kenn Kington and the final night dinner at the Cincinnati Reds baseball game, as well as very informative content with three speakers on energy strategies, 10 keys to enhancing and maintaining your cost of quality and minimizing your taxes in business succession planning.

A first time attendee from a member company stated, “I’ve never been to a chapter meeting and after being here and having the chance to network and hear great content, I can’t believe I’ve missed these meetings.  I’ll be back for sure in 2015.”

2014 MTI President, Bob Hill from Solar Atmospheres of Western PA, gave a report to members on the various industry protects the Board and  Committees are working on including:

– Enhancing MTI benchmarking programs

– A New apprenticeship program

– Technical specifications with the various auditing groups

– MTI’s third party audit database

– Enhanced technologies to help members connect and share information 24-7
