With 142 commercial heat treaters reporting for the July MTI monthly sales report, year to date sales for the Metal Treating Industry for July 2014 were $548.3 million, an increase of 3.7% from 2013 when sales for January to July equaled $528 7 million.

Sales for the Metal Treating Industry for July 2014 totaled $78.1 million, an increase from 2013 when sales for July equaled $71.5 million or a 9.2% increase..

Eight out of the nine MTI districts reported higher sales in July 2014 compared to the previous year.
