8:00 am – 8:15 am:   MTI Strong

MTI President Bob Hill and CEO of MTI Management, Tom Morrison, will share an overview of the exciting developments on MTI projects and key benefits you should be taking advantage of.

8:15 am – 9:15 am:   Session 1 – The Keys to Reacting in a Volatile Energy Market

This past winter was one like we haven’t seen in a number of years.  Energy storage was wiped out leaving energy prices soaring in many areas leaving many members wondering what 2014-2015 holds for energy prices.  Jeff Sherman with APPI, will provide an in depth view of what is taking place, energy strategies you should consider and how the shale revolution is going to impact your future energy strategies.

9:15 am – 10:15 am:  Session 2 – When You Leave, Will Your Company Disappear

Business succession planning in any family business is such a challenging issue.  Many don’t even have a plan, many don’t know what to do and many don’t know what questions to ask.  Lonnie Brooks, from Mass Mutual Financial Group, has spoken to MTI members before and is one of the most knowledgeable individuals you will meet in the area of family business planning.  During this session, you will learn the steps you need to be taking to ensure the business you have worked all these years to create continues your legacy.

10:30 am – 11:45 am:  Session 3 – More Means More in Manufacturing

One of our all-time rated speakers has been Kenneth Gronbach.  Ken predicted at the 2009 MTI Spring Meeting all the positive news now coming out of economists and NAM on the resurgence of manufacturing.  Ken is back and with a lot of new data and information that is going to provide further hope that the business climate is getting better and you have a lot to look forward to.  This is one session you don’t want to miss as an owner.

12:15 pm – 5:30 pm:   Tour and Pace Car Driving Experience at Pocono

If it’s one things the members at the Great Lakes Chapter remembered in 2013, it was going 130 miles an hour around Michigan International Speedway.  The Atlantic Coast and Canadian Chapters are in for a thrill ride and memorable experience as you will enjoy lunch, a tour and pace car racing experience at the Pocono Nascar Raceway.

6:30 pm to 9:30 pm:   MTI Dinner and Reception

Spend the final night networking and telling stories about your Pocono Raceway experience.  Members will enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner and drinks.
